Videographer & Video Editor

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage and editing it into compelling visual stories for various platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Conceive, plan, and execute video production projects from start to finish, including location scouting, filming, and editing
• Operate camera equipment, such as 4K-resolution cameras, drones, and lighting kits, to capture high-quality footage
• Collaborate with the production team to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards for video projects
• Edit video footage using industry-standard software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, to create engaging and polished final products
• Apply visual effects, color correction, and sound design to enhance the overall quality of the video
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality videos on time, while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of creativity

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Production, Media Arts, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in videography and video editing, with a portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of visual storytelling and technical skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, as well as other video editing software
• Strong understanding of lighting, camera operation, and sound recording techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, directors, and other team members
• Familiarity with Ethiopian culture and media landscape, with the ability to create content that resonates with local audiences
