Job Title: Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. The Technician will work closely with our engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide exceptional support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify and diagnose technical issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
• Provide technical support and training to customers and junior staff members
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support and training to customers and staff members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Proficiency in Amharic and English languages, with the ability to read and understand technical documents and manuals
