Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Technician-II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks, including maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality
  • Install new equipment and systems, including testing and commissioning
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, adhering to industry standards

Requirements

  • Diploma or Level IV certification in a relevant technical field (e.g. electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering) from a recognized Ethiopian institution
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a related industry
  • Proven technical skills and knowledge in maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Amharic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
