Job Title: Technical Consultant for Core Banking

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant for Core Banking to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the implementation and maintenance of core banking systems. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support for the implementation and maintenance of core banking systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
• Design and implement solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure that systems meet business requirements and are free from defects
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, implementation plans, and test scripts
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on core banking systems implementation and maintenance
• Proven experience with core banking systems, such as Temenos, Flexcube, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of banking operations, including payment systems, accounting, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Professional certifications, such as CISA, CISM, or ITIL, are an added advantage
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an added advantage
