Laboratory Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and providing accurate results to support our operations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples using various techniques and equipment
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Record and report test results in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to laboratory safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of work experience as a laboratory technician in a clinical or research setting
• Registration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health or other relevant professional body
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory information management systems
