Senior Technical Trainer

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and mentor others.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive technical training programs to meet the needs of employees
• Deliver technical training sessions to employees, either in-person or virtually
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps and develop training plans to address them
• Mentor and coach employees to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and review training content
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure training programs are relevant and effective

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, engineering, information technology)
• At least 5 years of experience in technical training or a related field
• Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry trends and developments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
• Certification in technical training or a related field (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, ITIL) is an asset
