Position: Radiology Manager

Career level: Senior level (VIP) A minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory role or senior radiology technologist

Duty base: Project site, Addis Ababa (Mekenisa, Kore Square area right after Consolata Catholic in the way from Mekenisa to Kore)

Employment type: Full time after satisfactory probationary excellent performance

Salary: As per the scale of the organization and attractive with perks

Statement of Purpose:

The Radiology Manager is responsible for establishing policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the provision of radiological services.

He / She evaluates performance and maintains quality assurance. Coordinates with other departments to provide maximal level of services to patients.

Major Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes and directs department activities.
Develops goals and objectives, establishes and implements policies and procedures for department operation.
Reviews department performance, effect changes as needed to improve services and assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Selects, trains/orients personnel and assign department staff.
Establishes work schedules.
Develops standards of performance and monitor staff.
Develops and recommends department budget and ensure department operates within allocated funds.
Maintains department reports and records.
Assures delivery of quality radiologic services for inpatients, outpatients, and employees.
Maintains hospital and department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control.
Directs documentation, establish record system, and maintain records, reports, statistics, logs, files, assisted by staff.

Attends meetings as required.
Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, outside conferences, and professional affiliations.

About You
Educational Qualification and Work Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology technology. Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory role or senior radiology technologist
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates Salam Hospital mission, vision, and values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Have a Valid professional license from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA).
Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Maintains the confidentiality of information pertaining to patient, physicians, employees and visitors to Salam Hospital in accordance with hospital policy and government regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Hospital language of record is English. Strong English verbal and written skills required.
