Job Title: People and Culture Coordinator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced People and Culture Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the People and Culture team, assisting with recruitment, employee onboarding, and other HR-related tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the People and Culture team, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, including preparing welcome packs, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, contracts, and benefits information
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, including employee engagement, training, and development programs
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, administration, or a related field, preferably in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Certificate in HR management, such as SHRM or CIPD, is an added advantage
