Job Title: Electronics Maintenance Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronics Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of electronic equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of electronic equipment and systems, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and efficiently
• Identify and replace faulty components, and perform upgrades and modifications as needed
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, test results, and equipment history
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, and adhere to industry standards and best practices

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in electronics maintenance, repair, and installation, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
• Technical knowledge of electronic circuits, microcontrollers, and programming languages (e.g. C++, Python)
• Familiarity with test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
