Senior Human Resource Learning & Development Specialist (Readvertised)

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Human Resource Learning & Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees, driving business growth and excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic learning and development plan that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs to address these gaps
• Design and deliver a range of training programs, including induction programs, leadership development programs, and technical skills training
• Manage the development and implementation of e-learning platforms and other digital learning solutions
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and review training content, ensuring it is relevant, engaging, and effective
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Manage the budget for learning and development initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet business needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a learning and development role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs that drive business results
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate adult learners
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Experience with e-learning platforms and digital learning solutions, including authoring tools and learning management systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
