Job Title: Machine Operator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines to ensure efficient and safe production. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of machinery and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machines are functioning properly
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues or concerns to supervisory staff
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and meet quality standards
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance) from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, including those related to machine operation and maintenance
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisory staff
• Physical ability to lift, stand, and move equipment as required
• Basic computer skills and ability to use software applications related to machine operation and maintenance
