Job Title: Junior Battery Charging Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Battery Charging Technician to join our team. As a Junior Battery Charging Technician, you will be responsible for the testing, charging, and maintenance of batteries for various applications. You will work closely with our senior technicians to ensure that all batteries are properly tested, charged, and maintained to meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and charge batteries according to established procedures and safety protocols
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on battery charging equipment and tools
• Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing battery-related problems
• Keep accurate records of battery testing and charging activities
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field) from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• 0-2 years of experience in battery charging and maintenance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, battery technology, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
