The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing business relationships with clients in branches under the Jimma district, with a focus on increasing sales, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and revenue growth in the Jimma district
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business development or relationship management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the Ethiopian market and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and develop effective sales strategies
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of local languages (e.g. Oromo) an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in CRM software and other sales management tools
