Job Title: Senior Banking Business Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market share in the banking industry
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate and institutional customers
• Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product teams and risk management, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to ensure our business remains competitive and compliant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, and client relationship management
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements in Ethiopia
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
