Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems with vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend repairs or maintenance
• Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles
• Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to share knowledge and best practices

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Mechanics from a recognized TVET college or institution
• At least 2 years of experience working as an Auto Mechanic, preferably in a garage or workshop setting
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, such as scan tools and multimeters
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
