Job Title: Assembly Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing products, ensuring that they meet the required quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and test products according to specifications and instructions
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that products meet the required standards
• Identify and report any defects or issues with products or equipment
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving assembly processes and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field) from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• At least 2 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field
• Strong understanding of assembly processes and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 25kg)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Amharic and English languages (spoken and written)
