Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with vehicles, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Use specialized tools and equipment to repair and maintain vehicles, including computerized diagnostic systems
• Test and inspect vehicles to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance to customers in a clear and concise manner
• Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other mechanics and support staff to achieve common goals

Requirements

• TVET/Level III diploma in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience working as a mechanic, preferably in a garage or workshop setting
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment
• Valid Ethiopian driver’s license, with a clean driving record
