Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as maintaining a safe and organized working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, including inventory management and stock control
• Implement and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Develop and implement procedures to improve warehouse operations, including workflow, inventory management, and safety protocols
• Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, stock movements, and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in a similar industry
• Proven knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as international standards for warehouse operations
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with inventory management software
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
