Job Title: Warehouse Head

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Head to oversee and manage our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as maintaining a safe and organized working environment. The Warehouse Head will also supervise a team of warehouse staff and work closely with other departments to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
• Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve warehouse operations and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure smooth operations and achieve company objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Proven track record of improving warehouse operations, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain management principles and practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems, such as ERP and inventory management systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets
