Job Title: Supply Chain Advisor

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supply Chain Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services to our customers. The Supply Chain Advisor will work closely with various stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement supply chain improvements, and develop strategies to drive business growth and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
• Analyze and optimize supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and distribution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and opportunities
• Design and implement process improvements to increase supply chain agility and responsiveness
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices
• Provide training and guidance to supply chain team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification in supply chain management, such as CSCP or CLTD, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Proficiency in MS Office and supply chain management software, such as ERP or TMS
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
