Job Title: Senior Tender & Proposals Lead (Solar EPC)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender & Proposals Lead (Solar EPC) to join our team in Ethiopia. As a Senior Tender & Proposals Lead, you will be responsible for leading the tender and proposal process for solar EPC projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and submit high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase our company’s capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the tender and proposal process for solar EPC projects, from tender notification to contract award
• Develop and implement tender and proposal strategies to win new business and grow our market share
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to develop and submit high-quality proposals
• Conduct thorough reviews of tender documents, identify key requirements, and develop compliance matrices
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers
• Manage and coordinate the proposal development process, including writing, editing, and proofreading
• Ensure all proposals are submitted on time, meet client requirements, and are of high quality
• Analyze feedback from clients and implement improvements to the proposal development process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tender management, proposal development, or a related field, preferably in the solar EPC industry
• Proven track record of leading successful tender and proposal processes, with a strong win-rate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality proposals and present to clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and interpret complex tender documents
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple proposals simultaneously
• Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Familiarity with Ethiopian tender regulations and procedures, as well as international best practices in tender management and proposal development
