Job Title: Senior Quality Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of our quality management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The Senior Quality Officer will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and excellence in our operations, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system, including policies, procedures, and standards
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
• Identify and mitigate quality risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent non-conformities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and excellence in operations, products, and services
• Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management principles, policies, and procedures
• Analyze quality data and trends, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Represent the company in external audits and assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in a similar industry
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, including ISO 9001
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality management principles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, and provide training and guidance to employees
• Certification in quality management, such as CQM or CQA, is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, and knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
