Senior Planning & Performance Management Officer (Re-Advertised)

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning & Performance Management Officer to lead our planning and performance management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring and evaluating performance, and providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions. This is a re-advertised position and we encourage all qualified candidates to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans and performance management frameworks to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Design and implement performance monitoring and evaluation systems to track progress and measure success
• Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure organizational performance
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions
• Collaborate with departments to develop and implement business plans and strategies
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact organizational performance

Requirements

• Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in planning, performance management, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior management position
• Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans and performance management frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of performance management software and tools, such as balanced scorecard, dashboard, and data analytics
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
