Senior HR Administrator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior HR Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including advertising vacancies, conducting interviews, and making job offers
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and coordinating employee benefits
• Conduct training and development programs for employees, including induction, orientation, and performance management
• Handle employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• Analyze HR data and provide insights to management, including employee turnover, attendance, and performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR administration, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Professional certification in HR, such as SHRM or CIPD, is an advantage
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, including the Labor Proclamation and the Civil Service Proclamation
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with HR management software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
