Job Title: Senior BIM Modeler (Sanitary) – Vacancy Code: Design 010/2026

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Modeler (Sanitary) to join our team of professionals in the design and development of water and sanitary infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for sanitary systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed BIM models for sanitary systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and consistent design and construction documentation
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and information for BIM modeling
• Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve potential design and construction issues
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for sanitary systems
• Provide training and support to junior BIM modelers and other team members on BIM best practices and standards
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including Ethiopian building codes and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on sanitary systems
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian building codes, standards, and regulations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Certification in BIM or a related field is an advantage
• Membership in a professional organization, such as the Ethiopian Association of Civil Engineers, is an advantage
