Job Title: Senior Banking Business Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Banking Business Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the banking industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulators
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure business performance is on track
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the banking industry, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Professional certification in banking, such as Certified Banking Professional (CBP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), is an advantage
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian banking industry, including regulatory requirements and market trends
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
