Job Title: Senior Advisor for Group CEO

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Advisor for our Group CEO to provide strategic guidance and support in driving business growth and excellence. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert counsel on key issues, identifying opportunities, and developing innovative solutions to drive business success. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Group CEO and senior leadership team to shape the company’s strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Group CEO on key business issues, including market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profitability
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Collaborate with senior leadership team to develop and implement organizational strategies, policies, and procedures
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments and teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of strategic plans
• Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and resilience

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Finance) from a reputable Ethiopian or international university
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership or advisory role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing profitability
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with ability to think critically and creatively
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian business environment, laws, and regulations, with ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
