Regional Office Manager – Amhara Region
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Office Manager to oversee our operations in the Amhara Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the regional office, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
- Manage and supervise regional office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between the regional office and head office, ensuring seamless information flow and collaboration
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and partner organizations
- Oversee regional budgeting and financial management, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to organizational policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate regional performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Represent the organization in regional meetings, conferences, and other events, promoting our brand and interests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a regional office setting
- Proven track record of successful regional management, including staff supervision, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and cultural norms
- Fluency in Amharic and English, with ability to communicate effectively in both languages
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Amhara Region and occasionally to other parts of Ethiopia
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
