Key Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for radiologic examinations, explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
• Monitor and maintain radiologic equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the relevant authorities
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results
• Maintain patient records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in radiologic technology

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiology Technology from a recognized Ethiopian university or college
• Registration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health or relevant professional body
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of radiologic principles, procedures, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Proficiency in English and Amharic, with knowledge of other local languages an advantage
