Mechanical Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, devices, and equipment. You will work closely with our team to identify and solve problems, and to improve the efficiency and performance of our mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, devices, and equipment
• Conduct research and analyze data to improve the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems
• Identify and solve problems related to mechanical systems and equipment
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop and implement new projects and technologies
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and other documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification from the Ethiopian Association of Engineers or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and practices
• Experience with CAD design software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
