Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician / Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician / Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, generators, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electrical and mechanical systems, using specialized tools and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure that systems are functioning properly and safely
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with other teams, such as electrical and mechanical engineering, to ensure that systems are integrated and functioning correctly
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including Ethiopian regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, generators, and control systems
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques, using specialized tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
• Familiarity with Ethiopian safety and quality standards, including regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
