Job Title: Junior Auto Mechanic

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Auto Mechanic to join our team. As a Junior Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. You will work closely with our team of experienced mechanics to diagnose and fix problems, and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify problems and determine the necessary repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Diagnose and repair problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
• Use specialized tools and equipment to repair and maintain vehicles
• Test vehicles to ensure they are working properly and make any necessary adjustments
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about the status of their vehicles

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Automotive Mechanics from a recognized vocational training center or college
• At least 1-2 years of experience working as an auto mechanic, preferably in a garage or workshop setting
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Ability to use specialized tools and equipment, such as diagnostic scanners and air compressors
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
