Job Title: Logistics Head Assistance

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Head Assistance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Logistics Head in planning, organizing, and overseeing the overall logistics operations of the company. This includes managing the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Logistics Head in developing and implementing logistics strategies and plans
• Coordinate with suppliers, transportation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor and track logistics performance metrics, including delivery times, inventory levels, and costs
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize logistics operations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure alignment and effective communication

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field, with a proven track record of success
• Knowledge of logistics management principles, practices, and regulations in Ethiopia
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
