Job Summary

The Logistics Assistant supports effective field operations and program implementation by ensuring timely logistics arrangements, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with coordination between field teams and the operations unit. This role contributes to smooth delivery of project activities through transport support, event organization, and documentation management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Field Operations Support

Assist in day-to-day logistics arrangements for field activities.
Ensure transport, materials, and supplies are available for program teams.
Provide on-the-ground support during trainings, workshops, and community events.
2. Transport & Supply Coordination

Support drivers in scheduling and dispatching vehicles for field missions.
Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
Assist in managing distribution of supplies and materials to field sites.
3. Event & Activity Logistics

Coordinate logistics for trainings, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
Arrange venues, prepare materials, and support participant coordination.
Ensure smooth execution of all event-related activities.
4. Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, deliveries, and transactions.
Prepare and update logistics-related documents for reporting.
Ensure proper filing and secure storage of operational documents.
5. Team Coordination

Work closely with field staff and program teams to align logistics support with operational needs.
Facilitate effective communication between logistics and program units.
Provide timely updates on logistics challenges and solutions.
About You
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Exit Exam result: 75 & above
Experience

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in logistics or operations support and related areas.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in NGO, donor funded projects or field operations is an added advantage.
