Job Title: Junior Legal Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will provide legal support and guidance to our organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide informed opinions and recommendations
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Provide legal support and guidance to various departments within the organization
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations, and advise the organization on necessary compliance measures
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures
• Collaborate with external legal counsel and other stakeholders as needed

Requirements

• LL.B degree from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Bar membership or eligibility to join the Ethiopian Bar Association
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian laws and regulations, including commercial and civil law
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with the ability to draft and review legal documents in both languages
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
