Job Title: Junior Chemist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to analyze and identify chemical compounds and substances
• Assist in the development and implementation of new chemical processes and procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results, procedures, and experiments
• Collaborate with senior chemists and other team members to achieve project goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies in the field of chemistry and apply this knowledge to improve processes and procedures

Requirements

• BSc degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory or chemical industry setting
• Strong knowledge of chemical principles, laboratory procedures, and safety protocols
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software applications
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
