Job Title: Junior Auto Electrician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Auto Electrician to join our team. As a Junior Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their skills and knowledge in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles using specialized tools and equipment
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical components such as batteries, starters, and alternators
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking and replacing fuses, bulbs, and other electrical components
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient and effective repair of vehicles
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including repair orders and maintenance schedules

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology from a recognized institution (e.g. TVET)
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in automotive electrical repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit diagrams and troubleshooting techniques
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as required
