Junior Architect (Fresh Graduate)

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Architect to join our team. As a Junior Architect, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from conceptual design to construction administration. You will assist our senior architects in designing and developing innovative building projects, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of architectural projects, including concept design, schematic design, and design development
• Prepare and present design materials, including drawings, models, and presentations
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and data for design development
• Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, and elevations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized Ethiopian university, such as Addis Ababa University or Bahir Dar University
• 0-2 years of experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio of academic or professional work
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and zoning regulations in Ethiopia
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
• Membership in the Ethiopian Association of Architects (EAA) is an added advantage
