Integrated Facility Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Integrated Facility Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and well-maintained, and that all operations are running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility management strategies to ensure the effective and efficient operation of our facilities
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Manage and supervise facility staff, including maintenance personnel, janitors, and security guards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities are supporting the needs of the organization
• Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any issues or problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business Administration from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a similar industry or organization
• Strong knowledge of facility management principles, practices, and techniques
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies
• Certification in facility management, such as CFM or FMP, is an asset
• Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as international standards for facility management
