Job Title: HR Business Partner
Brief Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with our management team to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with our business objectives. You will provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee engagement, and performance management. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and support the growth and development of the organization
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee engagement, and performance management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with management and employees to understand their needs and provide tailored HR solutions
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the organization’s goals and objectives
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, including the Ethiopian Labor Proclamation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Certification in HR, such as a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or a Certified Business Partner (CBP), is an asset
- Fluency in Amharic and English is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
