Job Title: Head Human Capital Management

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Capital Management to lead our human resources function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive human capital management strategies that align with our organization’s overall vision and goals. This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of human resources principles, practices, and regulations in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement human capital management strategies that support the organization’s growth and success
• Lead the human resources team to deliver high-quality services in recruitment, talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, and benefits administration
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize human capital needs and develop solutions to address them
• Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and accountability
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
• Analyze and report on human capital metrics to inform business decisions and drive improvement

Requirements

• Masters’ degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Professional certification in human resources, such as SHRM-CP or CIPD, is an advantage
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective human capital management strategies that drive business results
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as international best practices in human resources management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions
