Job Title: Finance Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The Finance Manager will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies
• Identify areas for cost savings and implement initiatives to improve financial performance

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards
• Excellent financial analysis, planning, and budgeting skills
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with senior management and stakeholders
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
