Job Title: Senior Audit Follow up and Analysis Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Follow up and Analysis Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the audit follow-up process, analyzing audit findings, and providing recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the audit follow-up process to ensure that all audit findings are properly addressed and implemented by management
• Conduct detailed analysis of audit findings and provide recommendations to management on areas for improvement
• Develop and implement audit follow-up plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of audit recommendations
• Collaborate with internal audit teams to identify and assess risks, and develop audit plans and programs
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and the audit committee on audit follow-up progress and findings
• Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including internal audit teams, management, and external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Professional certification in auditing, such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA
• At least 5 years of experience in auditing, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior audit role
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and techniques
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
