Dispute & Reconciliation Management Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispute & Reconciliation Management Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving disputes in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective dispute resolution and reconciliation strategies to manage conflicts and disputes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to resolve disputes, ensuring that all parties are treated fairly and impartially
  • Facilitate communication and negotiation between parties to reach a mutually acceptable resolution
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and other departments, to ensure that disputes are resolved in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of disputes and their resolution, including recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on dispute resolution and reconciliation procedures and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in dispute resolution, reconciliation, or a related field, preferably in a similar industry or organization
  • Proven track record of successfully resolving disputes and conflicts in a fair and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to dispute resolution and reconciliation
  • Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
