Job Title: Community & Partnerships Director

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community & Partnerships Director to lead our community engagement and partnership development efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community engagement and partnership development strategies to achieve organizational goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand our reach and impact
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of community engagement and partnership development efforts
• Represent the organization in community events, meetings, and conferences
• Develop and manage budgets for community engagement and partnership development initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement and partnership development efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in community development, partnerships, or related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Fluency in Amharic and English; knowledge of other local languages is an asset
• Experience working with Ethiopian NGOs, government agencies, or private sector organizations is an advantage
