Job Title: Communications Contractor
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Contractor to join our team at Beleqet Jobs. As a Communications Contractor, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies that promote our brand, services, and values to our target audience. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling content, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and maintain a positive image of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans and strategies to achieve organizational goals
- Create engaging content for various channels, including social media, websites, and press releases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and partners to secure media coverage and promote our brand
- Design and execute internal and external communication campaigns to enhance our reputation and visibility
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our communication strategies
- Provide communication support and guidance to other departments and teams as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- At least 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian media landscape, culture, and communication trends
- Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and digital communication tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Certifications such as CPRP (Certified Public Relations Professional) or CAM (Certified Advertising and Marketing) are an added advantage
