Call for Consultancy Service for Digital Apprenticeship Exchange and Skill Wallet System

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled consultant to design and implement a Digital Apprenticeship Exchange and Skill Wallet System. The consultant will work closely with our team to develop a comprehensive system that connects apprentices with potential employers, provides a platform for skills development, and facilitates the exchange of skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital solutions, apprenticeship programs, and skills development, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects in similar fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a needs assessment to identify the requirements of the Digital Apprenticeship Exchange and Skill Wallet System
• Design a comprehensive system that meets the needs of apprentices, employers, and training providers
• Develop a detailed implementation plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the system is user-friendly, accessible, and meets the needs of all users
• Provide training and technical support to users of the system
• Develop a monitoring and evaluation plan to assess the effectiveness of the system
• Provide regular progress reports to the project team and stakeholders

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing digital solutions, preferably in the fields of apprenticeship, skills development, or education
• Proven track record of delivering successful projects in similar fields, with a strong portfolio of work
• Excellent understanding of the Ethiopian education and training sector, including the apprenticeship program and skills development initiatives
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages, database management, and web development
• Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
