Call for Applications: Strategic Planning Consultant
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Consultant to work with our organization in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan. The successful candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough analysis of our organization’s internal and external environment to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- Develop a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with our organization’s mission, vision, and goals
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and participation in the strategic planning process
- Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives and projects to achieve our organization’s objectives
- Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress and assess the effectiveness of the strategic plan
- Provide coaching and capacity-building support to our staff to ensure successful implementation of the strategic plan
Requirements
- Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian or international university
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and participation
- Proficiency in Amharic and English languages, with excellent writing and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism
- Experience working with Ethiopian organizations or international organizations operating in Ethiopia is an asset
