Job Title: Branch Manager II

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager II to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the branch, including sales, customer service, and risk management. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch business objectives and sales targets
• Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales and customer service staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction
• Manage the branch’s risk management framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies
• Manage the branch’s budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of assets
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure the branch operates within established risk parameters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Professional certification in banking or finance, such as CFA or ACIB, is an advantage
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with knowledge of other local languages an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian banking regulations and industry trends
