Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing and potential clients in the RMSME (Retail, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) sector, within the West Addis Ababa District. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the Ethiopian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the client base in the RMSME sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying new business opportunities and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends and developments in the RMSME sector
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, relationship management, or a related field, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business relationships
  • Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian market, including the RMSME sector and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
